    I have had luck with this too. I only tried it because I read about another guy doing it with success in a book I have. I figured it worked for him why not try it.

    You do it on the scape not the licking branch.

    I've always had great luck with mock scrapes.I'm in my stand in the top right corner of this photo,while a 4pt,is checking out the scrape.

    Nice pics. Shedster, hopefully next year I'll have better pics. The bucks up by me were real late this year. All the neighbors said the same thing, no scrapes or rubs. Good luck

    Our Muzzleloader season ends Tuesday,so I'll be putting the cams back out for the winter soon.

    I see you use the scent dispencer, I use to use them but the scent would always freeze up in mine, so now I use the droptime model made by ****** and haven't had any issue's with freeze up any more.

    This is the first year I've used one.So far haven't had any issues,but then again this has been a pretty mild winter.
