Info with cameras says I need to update firmware to 6.0 but it is not on website; the cameras aren't even shown except in the ad to sell them. I have emailed them twice now and no response!!! Anyone have any suggestions; I have spent over a thousand bucks on things and can't use them!!
Go to this page... http://www.cuddeback.com/update and click the blue button that says "FIRMWARE" and download the universal firmware update. Follow the instructions on that page for downloading and installing the firmware. If that doesn't work for some reason call their customer support @ (920) 347-3810.

The link suggested does not have a "universal" firmware, nor does it appear to have any firmware that is newer or even for the cuddelink cameras.
Also wondering when they are going to release the cellcap and other cameras in this line. All were promised on the site by January 2018 and now that has been changed to June 2018
The firmware file is called "universal" in that it contains the latest firmware for all of the actively supported cameras rolled into one zip file. There is a text file (FirmwareMap.txt) that is inside of the zip file that explains which firmware applies to what cameras and it states:Originally Posted by Yellowdog

So the first of the three files is for the G models (Cuddelink) version 6.0. You don't have to unzip this file or anything else. Just copy it onto your SD card and follow the instructions for loading firmware and you should be good to go. The camera will automatically know which of the three files to load.
Can't answer the second question on availability... Slow boat from China perhaps?
Problem is, the (6.0.0) is not the latest firmware. The file on the Cudde site is old.
As to the delay from January 18 to June 18, they have no explanation. Frankly, sounds suspicious, that they waited until after the hunting and Christmas buying season to suddenly kick the year old release date forward another 6 months on the two most critical parts of the "system" they say they have working and have been marketing.
The reason for the push back on the Cell cameras was because we revealed the new cameras at the ATA show this past week and also will show them at the SHOT show next week. We need to fill all dealer orders first that are placed at the shows so because of this we pushed the timeframe back on when customers can order direct through us. We are sorry for the delay as we are aware of the demand for the cell cameras, we just need to fill all dealer orders first.
Need to repair your camera or need to stop firmware updates to solve your problem.
