    Slow Video Trigger time?

I'm using my Cudde around the outside of the house for security. I've been using it for about two weeks and since it is aimed routes that I use on a daily basis, I get a lot of shots on the unit.

I have the trigger set for FAP. 5 photos, and 30 seconds of video. The photo triggers extremely quick, so quick that I'll probably slow it down.

While I have more photos of my working around the house than I want to count, the video always misses me passing by.

It looks like there is at least a 5 second delay before the video starts.

Does the Cudde shoot the stills, then start the video?

Today, I set the unit to shoot video only, hoping that fixes the video delay.

Yes, it always takes the picture first. Hope that helps you.

Looking at your initial set up if you have the camera set to take 5 images first then a video it will not take the video until the 5 images are taken. If you figure it takes around 1 second to trigger and save the picture and trigger another image you would be around 5 seconds before the video would start to shoot.
