Yes we all wish the capture flash was still around. Even today very hard to beat..however the C1 is very respectable

They are releasing a solar panel this spring/summer. And I believe a battery pack that will plug into the J series that will also allow you to plug the solar panel into it. I await more info as well.

I did briefly plug in a solar panel about 2 mins before. I thought it could mean low battery level on external source...but it was unplugged when i put new lithium batts in and powered up.

Put some new batteries in the C1 and while scrolling through settings I see "low ext" I cannot find any info on this message. Anybody got info? Thanks!

There my go to cam for scrapes.sometimes I double up with another like an Ambush IR in video mode if it's a hot spot. If I get a new good buck at a spot I make sure I get a capture picture of it lol.
