My Capture has started taking pictures without anything tripping the motion sensor. Whatever delay I set it for, it takes pictures as soon as the delay is up (every 30 seconds). I left it on a tree for a week and when I checked the card, it had 4,402 pics in 2 days and the batteries were dead. Any suggestions???

How big is the tree you have the Capture mounted to?

The tree is approximately 6" in diameter. It's a young pine. I also attached it to the 4" x 4" fence post in my backyard when I got home, replaced the batteries, and installed a brand new SD card. It did the same thing no matter what I set the delay to.

Well it cannot be the camera swaying on the tree. Return it.

That's what I figured I would end up having to do. Thanks for your help!

I'd say return it also, but since it is a Capture, it may be past warrenty. It is time the companies learn that there is a lot of people who only use these cameras for 3-4 months a year and by the time they go to hell it is now way past warrenty.
