I had many pics of this buck for 2 seasons. He was taken by someone else in my club a few hundred yards from my stand. He was a 15 point!

15? I only count 9.

The 1st pic he was a 9. If you look at the others you can see 3 short points on the end of his right beam and a kicker on his left side. Looking at the pics and zooming in on the computer you only see 12. According to hunters that saw it after it was shot, it was 15.

I gotcha..

Maybe the deer grew as more people told the story. Either way I was disappointed not to get it myself!

Hey, deerhunter308 do you have a lot of piebald deer by you? If so are you allowed to shoot them? I would think if you could shoot a doe you could get the hide tanned with the hair on, it would make a nice rug. And if a buck it would make a pretty unique trophy.

We can shoot piebalds. I only saw pics of that one for a few weeks and never heard of anyone else seeing it. I have only heard or seen about 1 other piebald on the property. It was an 8 pointer that was killed about 25 years ago. Im sure there are more but most people are hush hush about what they see because other people try moving in on your spot.

I understand, my neighbors are the same way here. They want to know and see what I've caught on film but never want to share their pics.

Great pic. I love getting pics. like that from time to time. Because it makes me chuckle to remember the Bambi movie and how all the animals got along with each other. This is real life.
