What sd cards work best

I have just bought the capture ir and I would like to know what brands of sd cards work best. Also do you need to go on line and check to see if there is any updates on my camera before I place it in the woods.

I also use sandisk cards in all my cameras and found over the years that duracell batteries work the best, but sometimes it's still a crapshoot with batteries. Just because they say their good to whenever I still get clunkers with them.
