Great looking photos. I'd love to see some more night time flash photos and low light day light photos where it's not quite dark enough for the flash to trigger. I'm really thinking about buying one of these babies. They look nice.

146147148149I think this doe was sniffing the camera, just goes to show how unaffected the deer are by the Attack IR. I just started using cameras last season and a year later am kicking myself for not using them sooner. Its probley one of the reasons i've never harvested a buck in almost 20 yrs of hunting (more than happy with the numerous does i"ve been lucky to harvest tho)

08-25-2011, 06:47 AM
Here are a couple from my Attack IR

08-25-2011, 11:10 AM
Nice deer pix. Do you hunt in Mass? Try Vermont & Maine. You should be able to harvest that Buck. Good luck!!!!!! Come out to Montana and I'll let ya drop a bear on my land. There are tons of them. :p

08-25-2011, 12:55 PM

08-25-2011, 05:31 PM
Yes I do hunt in Mass. I'd love to get out to Montana,(heard it's absoutly beautiful), and hunt bear. Mass didn't have a bear season up till about 5 yrs ago and even now they only give out a small number of tags in certain zones so I've never had the opertunity to hunt bear.

It appears that the filter that moves in front of the lens is obstructing the photos on alot of the new cameras. Why hasn't anybody said anything about this? It appears on the left side of many photos on the attack IR camera. You can see in Bearman's photos on here. Also seems to create a glare in the night time photos on the left of the pictures. Don't get me wrong I love my cuddebacks (I have 12 of the older models) but have to say that is a big dissapointment that nobody has figured that out and corrected that problem In bearmans IR photos above you can see the bottom left of the photo has a corner that is rounded and in the upper left there is a couple of glares in the photos I have seen this on a few of the new cameras some not so bad but some far worse. I just dont know how this wasnt corrected in the production process? Whats up Cuddeback???

09-04-2011, 07:06 AM
It is just how the camera sits in the bearsafe. I'm happy with it, but none of my cameras sit in the woods without a bearsafe. bearman

09-04-2011, 11:04 AM
It only happens to the attack IR, at first i thought it was the bearsafe but i looked at 20 of them at gander mountain and have seen that the filter lens that moves in front of the camera lens had alignment issues on some and some were were aligned great. I think cuddeback could improve on this design by adding some kind of rubber stop to make sure that the arm lines up properly every time and may possibly help with the filter clunk noise. a positive stop would prevent the filter lens from moving too far and prevent obstructing the lens. Just saying, I still like the camera But I have also experienced this myself and hope Cuddeback is listening and improves on the design!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML85MCPkA_ASet it up at my campsite in Buckingham, Virginia. We go out there every three to four weeks and after three weeks, the SD card had over 1,600 images and videos on it. All had nothing special on them except for 11 pictures and 8 videos. You tell me what the heck this thing is and if anyone else has had something like this captured on their camera. The lights in the background are solar powered ground lights and a solar LED spotlight mounted on a pole ten feet high 75 feet away in the background. The time was midnight, Aug. 30, 2011. The other videos show it dancing around in the background a fair distance away near the tree line.

Does the PVC help with coons climbing up the feeder legs?

09-24-2011, 07:56 PM
It is not really exciting ~ but this is the first picture I got from my new Attack Flash ~ one rain soaked raccoon!

09-25-2011, 06:54 PM
I totally agree with you. Mine does the same thing with the shadow in the bottom left of EVERY single picture. They should make a new safe & give one out for free. That is Cuddebacks error in my opinion.

09-25-2011, 06:57 PM
Nice pics. That Buck is sure getting bigger. He'll be all polished up about now or very soon. good luck getting him this year.

do you like the IR better or flash i have a ******** pic not good but attack look good?

11-02-2011, 08:25 PM
sorry bearman69 do you like IR cam better or flash

11-03-2011, 09:35 AM
I like them about the same, but now with the IR I can have night video. The bad thing with the IR is no color pics. at night. I've found over the years of using the flash cameras, ( Experts and Captures ) the animals don't seem to mind the flash. I hope I answered your question.

11-09-2011, 09:31 PM
well i did it got my attack ir i have a Expert and capture flash cams

11-11-2011, 11:48 AM

bearman69 show use some pic of big! bucks

12-31-2011, 11:25 AM
Really nice shot of the buck walking through the water!

01-01-2012, 08:56 AM
I wish I could, but the big bucks I had on my cameras from June till Sept. just seemed to disappear. The last nice buck I saw alive was the fourth day of early bow season, when I passed him up waiting to get at his running mate, a big 10pt. If I don't get any more pics of them it's still nice to know I got a good crop of young ones coming up.

01-02-2012, 04:52 AM
Here are a few new pics. from my new Attack IR of my test subject,my granddaughter. I installed the new update in this one and wanted to make sure everything was working right before putting it out in the woods for the winter,enjoy.753754755756

01-08-2012, 01:25 PM

not happy with the nightime photos. why would they look like this. i love cuddebacks for the trigger speed, but i have had nothing but problems with the capture ir, so i bought a attack ir thinking it would be a lot better, and these are the ir pics i get! whats the deal?

01-09-2012, 10:20 AM
I have an attack ir and the night pics are Great unless the deer is close then it doesent use a lot of light so the pic is darker

Those look good bearman. Has it been pretty mild where those pics were taken?

01-11-2012, 10:04 AM
Yeah, we only have maybe 2 in. of snow in the woods and the temps. have been on the mild side. But later this week I'm looking at maybe 6-10 inches by Friday, time will tell.
